Sakif Alam is a published author and founding partner at Kabir & Alam, where he leads the firm’s immigration practice. A skillful and passionate advocate to everyone who wants to have a fresh start in Canada, he believes in the right to freedom and opportunity for everyone. With extensive experience in immigration and refugee law, where he regularly represents clients before both the Federal Court and all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, he approaches every case from a litigator’s perspective, and because he was once an international student, he understands the precarious situation of temporary residents.
