Practice Areas
Canadian immigration and refugee law, and Ontario personal injury law. Two practices, one approach: understand the situation first, and prepare every file as if it will be challenged.
We practise in two areas: Canadian immigration and refugee law, and Ontario personal injury law. They are different fields, but we approach both the same way: by understanding your situation before we talk about categories, and by preparing every file as if it will be challenged.

Immigration Law
Temporary visas, work and study permits, permanent residence, family sponsorship, citizenship, refugee protection, and litigation when a decision goes against you. We act for clients across Canada and around the world.
TRV & TRP
Visiting Canada means satisfying an officer you will leave when you should, and past inadmissibility can complicate that. We help visitors, and people who need a temporary resident permit, put forward a complete case.
Study Permits
A study permit application turns on more than an acceptance letter: financial capacity, ties to home, and your study plan all matter. We help students apply, extend, and respond to refusals.
Work Permits
Canada’s work permit system has dozens of categories, each with its own rules. We help workers, graduates, spouses, and employers find the right pathway and put forward a well-documented application.
Permanent Residence
There are many routes to permanent residence, and the right one depends on your work history, family, and time in Canada. We help you identify the pathway that fits and apply under it properly.
Family Reunification
Sponsoring a spouse, partner, child, or parent means proving both eligibility and a genuine relationship. We prepare sponsorship applications and respond when the relationship is questioned.
Citizenship Applications
Citizenship turns on physical presence, and the paper trail matters more than most applicants expect. We help with applications, residency questionnaires, and refusals.
Refugee Law
A refugee claim rests on credibility and evidence, and the hearing usually decides it. We prepare claimants for the IRB and act on appeals and judicial reviews.
H&C Applications
H&C applications ask an officer to make an exception, so the case has to be built rather than filled in. We help applicants set out establishment, hardship, and the interests of any children involved.
Inadmissibility & Criminal Rehabilitation
A criminal record, misrepresentation finding, or medical issue can close the door to Canada, sometimes years later. We assess inadmissibility and pursue rehabilitation, permits, and appeals.
Business Immigration
Provincial entrepreneur and investor streams each have their own thresholds, business plan requirements, and performance conditions. We help founders and investors choose a stream and meet what it asks.
Immigration Litigation
When an application is refused or a decision is unfair, the Federal Court and the IRB are where it gets tested. We take on judicial reviews, appeals, and hearings.
Personal Injury
Motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, dog attacks, medical negligence, and denied disability benefits. We deal with the insurers so you can focus on your recovery.
Motor Vehicle Accidents
After a collision you are dealing with accident benefits and a possible tort claim at the same time, on separate timelines. We handle both and deal with the insurers.
Slip and Fall Injuries
Slip and fall claims turn on notice, maintenance records, and short deadlines that can bar a claim before it starts. We investigate early and deal with the property owner and its insurer.
Occupier’s Liability
Anyone who controls a property owes a duty to keep it reasonably safe. We act for people injured on premises and deal with the notice requirements that apply.
Dog Attack Injuries
Ontario’s Dog Owners’ Liability Act makes owners responsible without proof of prior aggression. We act for people bitten or knocked down and pursue the owner’s insurance.
Medical Malpractice
A poor outcome is not automatically negligence, and these cases need expert medical evidence to go anywhere. We assess whether there is a claim and pursue it if there is.
Disability Benefits
A denied long-term disability claim is not the last word, and the policy wording usually decides what happens next. We handle appeals and claims against insurers.
